The Moonstone Seal of Bashal'Aran

Cassidy Darkstar set out from The Oracle Glade, and there Yuuki the warrior and Mil the priest joined him. Yuuki went his own way almost at once. Mil stayed on as far as Ban'ethil. Together they overcame Witchmother Arysa and took her amulet, which finished the errand called "Darkness in the Glade", and after that the matter of The Oracle Tree was soon settled. Cassidy was given Inscribed Bark to carry, and before leaving he slew Lady Sathrah and took her Silvery Spinnerets. He went up into Darnassus. In the Cenarion Enclave he put the bark into the hands of Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm, and he received in return a message for Onu in the Grove of the Ancients, far across the water. At the Temple of the Moon he delivered the spinnerets, and he was charged with Sathrah's Sacrifice.

Next he went down into the Ban'ethil Barrow Den, with Shivv the hunter beside him for a short stretch. There he recovered the Shaman Voodoo Charm for The Sleeping Druid and then saw the Druid of the Claw set free. The Gnarlpine held that den strongly, and he fell there once, but he did not give it up. Others joined him in the barrow: Elundra the warrior and Tina the priest, who stayed a while, and Justín the hunter, who stayed longer. Victoza, a druid of his own order, joined them too. In that den Cassidy came into his twelfth level. Escaping Ban'ethil was done, and the fronds were brought home. At Gnarlpine Hold he and Elora the priest brought down Ursal the Mauler, and their meeting was very brief. When Sathrah's Sacrifice had been laid down at the Temple of the Moon, all of Teldrassil lay explored behind him. At Rut'theran Village, Nessa Shadowsong and Vesprystus sent him out over The Veiled Sea. He marked his first sight of Darkshore with a picture.

In Auberdine he brought Nessa's Collection to Laird. There he met Rambleon the hunter, who stayed with him longer than anyone else. Cassidy took on many errands there, among them Plagued Lands, Washed Ashore and Buzzbox 827, and he gathered bones and remains along The Long Wash. At Auberdine he came into his thirteenth level. Then he took the road south through Twilight Shore and Twilight Vale to the Grove of the Ancients. There he gave Onu the message he had carried from Darnassus, and so the charge laid on him by the Arch Druid was fulfilled. He pushed on to The Master's Glaive and Remtravel's Excavation, but he did not stay there long.

He returned north and helped measure the threat of the Blackwood furbolgs. Strafhe the hunter was with him for a moment of that fight. Thundris Windweaver gave him a letter for Baros Alexston in Stormwind. At Mist's Edge, with Banne the hunter beside him, he recovered the lockboxes of the Silver Dawning and the Mist Veil. He found the red crystal on the eastern heights, and as he brought back word of it he came into his fourteenth level. Then he went among the grell at Bashal'Aran. He gathered all eight of their earrings, and after that he won the Ancient Moonstone Seal. With it he returned once more to Auberdine. More of Bashal'Aran's errand remained before him, and the letter for Stormwind was still in his pack.
