The Harpies of the Charred Vale

Cassidy Darkstar set out from The High Seat in Ironforge, and Rambleon the Hunter joined him at the start. Rambleon stayed with him from the first step to the last. The two of them went by The Great Forge and the Vault of Ironforge, and on through The Mystic Ward to The Forlorn Cavern. There Cassidy saw through the errand called "The Powers Below," and with that his business in the dwarven halls was done.

From there his road turned west and home, to Craftsmen's Terrace in Darnassus, and he took a picture as he came in. He went back and forth along the terraces for a while. Then he took up a new charge, "Twilight Falls," and went down to Rut'theran Village and out over The Veiled Sea. He came to Darkshore and passed through Mist's Edge, Auberdine, The Long Wash and Twilight Shore. He crossed The Zoram Strand in Ashenvale and climbed at last into the Stonetalon Mountains. At each new border he stopped to take a picture. At Stonetalon Peak he accepted the errand "Reclaiming the Charred Vale," and he went south by Mirkfallon Lake, Webwinder Path and Windshear Crag. Around the lake he hunted the Blackened Basilisks, and by the end thirteen of them had fallen to him.

Then he went into The Charred Vale, where the hard work of the road lay. Bloodfury Harpies, Ambushers and Windcallers fought him there, along with Rogue Flame Spirits and the Charred Ancients, and once a Singed Basilisk. The vale was a hard place, and more than once he had to go back by Webwinder Path and Mirkfallon Lake before he could return. Each time he returned. While he was there, two druids of his own order, Arktalis and Falsila, joined him. They fought beside him in the vale and stayed until he turned homeward. With their help the sixth Bloodfury Harpy fell, and the harpy count for "Reclaiming the Charred Vale" was complete. He took many pictures in that country, more than anywhere else on the road.

After that he went back to Darnassus. At Warrior's Terrace and Tradesmen's Terrace he parted from Arktalis and Falsila with courtesy. In the Cenarion Enclave he received an old charge of his order, "The Great Cat Spirit." It led him to Nighthaven in Moonglade, where he took a picture as he arrived. There he saw the errand through once, and when it was given to him again he finished it a second time beside Lake Elune'ara. In Nighthaven he also took up the "Trial of the Lake" and "The Principal Source," and he went down into the Stormrage Barrow Dens. The last record has him back on the shores of Lake Elune'ara, with Rambleon still beside him and the road through Moonglade still ahead.
